• Total Solar Eclipse Viewing - The Eclipse will be visible from Astral Valley Art Park on Monday April 8th, 2024 from 12:42 pm - 3:12 pm with the moment of totality falling in the window of 1:59 pm - 2:01 pm. Be sure to wear your eclipse glasses we provide you for safe measures! (*** Note: times are estimated based on simulator and can vary within this window).

• Astronomy Workshop - Take a look through a high powered telescope at some of our skies’ notable features, plus get educated on what causes a Total Solar Eclipse, the safest way to view one and how to properly work a telescope!
   

• How to Make Moonshine Live Demos - Check out a working moonshine still and learn how to operate it and distill a batch of Missouri’s finest.

• Gong Sound Journeys - Allow your brain to relax into an alpha-dominant or theta-dominant brainwave state. In this state, your brain has time to download what's been happening in your day and to better process thoughts and emotions.
   

• Top Rope Climbing for All Ages - a form of rock climbing where the climber is securely attached to a climbing rope that runs through a fixed anchor at the top of the climbing route, and back down to the the base of the climb.

• You Make Me Sprout - Learn how to propagate plants, plus select a free plant, and decorate the pot to put it in and take home!

​

• Karma and Crystals - Most humans have access to crystals, stones and fossils but we likely don’t yet appreciate the full scope of their healing power. In this interactive workshop, you will learn about how crystals, stones and fossils can support different types of karmic healing and you will have the opportunity to experience this healing! Participants will leave this workshop with vital new information, a new routine or practice and the understanding that although karma may be complicated, karmic healing does not have to be.

• Guided Meditation - learning to remain anchored in the present moment, to observe what's going on right here, right now which naturally results in a sense of peace and relaxation.

• Astral Valley History Tours - take a walk with one of the property stewards to see the reminiscence of the 1800s town that once thrived at Astral Valley, plus learn about the history of the area and settlers.

• Kundalini Yoga - a form of yoga that involves chanting, singing, breathing exercises, and repetitive poses. Its purpose is to activate your Kundalini energy, or shakti. This is a spiritual energy that's said to be located at the base of your spine.

• Kids Creation Station Activities - a fun space for children (and all ages) to explore art, play and find their inner child, build a dreamcatcher to add to dreamcatcher lane, paint an eclipse souvenir, create & take home your own music maker and much more TBA!

• Fire and Flow Workshops - interested in finding your flow? Try your hand at poi, hula hoop, aerial, and fire, plus learn about the health benefits of these art forms - detailed schedule TBA!

• Beginner Yoga - Don’t be afraid to try yoga with this beginners course designed for all ages and experience levels, plus learn about the benefits a simple daily routine of this can add to your overall quality of life.

• Singing Bowls Sound Journeys - Reduce your stress levels and unwind through sound! The practice of listening to singing bowls, in particular, has been found to reduce blood pressure, lower a patient's perception of pain, and cause less self-reported tension, anger, fatigue and depression.

• Homemade Wine Making Live Demos - see a batch of wine fermenting and learn the steps and ingredients needed to do it yourself at home!

​

• Advanced Climbing Demonstrations - watch the experts demonstrate the art of rock climbing plus learn about climber’s safety, the different types of climbing and how you can get started climbing today.

 

• Herbal Elixir Making - Learn the proper way to steep medicinal herbs in items often found in your pantry, like honey or alcohol, and create powerful healing home remedies to common ailments plus make your own elixir you get to bring home!

• Cob Rocket Stove Live Demos - Find out what you need to build your own Cob Rocket Stove at home and how to operate it. Our version will actually be built on site with clay and other items harvested from the property and built by Master Potter Jamie Smith!

• Tantric Puja Ceremony - Bring in the eclipse in ceremony with the moving power of Bhakti yoga and a full Tantric Puja with Amaku. Bhakti yoga is the path of devotion which comes naturally to those who are predominantly ruled by emotion and transforms what we perceive to be the very thing holding us back in our evolutionary process.  It is considered the most direct way to self-realization. The emotions, when channeled properly, can help liberate us. Bhakti yoga is the approach of pure love and in this tantric puja, this pure love we pour upon each other as we honor and adore the divine aspects in us all. This powerful puja is inherently sensual (participants will engaged all 5 senses) but non-sexual and is open to spiritual seekers at all levels. *** Dress code and other considerations: For energetic purposes, those representing the Shiva principle (divine masculine energy) are encouraged to wear bright white and those representing the Shakti principle (divine feminine energy) are encouraged to wear bright red. Participants are invited to bring offerings of fruits, nuts, flowers, crystals, shells and other gifts for the altar space which we will share after the conclusion of the puja.

• 9 Hole Tiki Disc Golf - Forget your frisbee? No problem! Gateway Disc Golf of STL will be on site with discs and a full 9 hole tiki disc golf course setup right in MainStage so you can practice your throwing skills and get in on a quick game with your friends!

For just $35 (to cover supplies), our expert instructors will guide you in taming the flames and crafting your very own glass pendant to take home.
